FAMILY SUNDAY

We will be hosting Family Sunday on March 24th. Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade will remain in the service. We will provide color activity pages and crayons for them to enjoy during the sermon.

LIGHTHOUSE CHATS

To encourage language and culture learning at Providence; Rachael and Matthew Vigil will be hosting an afternoon of language exchange (English & Spanish) on Sunday, March 24th at 03:30 p.m. at Providence. This event will consist of a Potluck style dinner where participants are encouraged to bring a dish that reminds them of home or simply something to share if they are able. Aside from the dinner, games and other activities will be done to help participants practice a language that is not their native tongue. EASTER EGG HUNT

All children from KidCity are invited to a Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30th at 11 a.m. Venue will be Spencer Garrett Park in Aurora. If you would like to volunteer at the egg hunt and/or donate supplies, click on this link to sign-up!

EASTER SERVICES & BRUNCH

Join us to celebrate Easter on Sunday, March 31st. We will be having two services at Providence; Multilingual service at 10 a.m. and service in Spanish at 1 p.m. 
We will also be enjoying fellowship at the Easter Brunch at 11:30 a.m. For the Brunch, please bring a dish that corresponds with the first letter of your last name:

  • A-K: Egg Dish
  • L-O: Fruit
  • P-Z: Bacon or Sausage

Bring food ready to serve. Bring a disposable dish or write your name on the dish. Serving utensils will be provided. REDEMPTIVE EDGE SUMMIT 2024

Providence, get ready for the Redemptive Edge Summit 2024! Starting off the event on April 7th is Preston Sprinkle, who will delve into the engaging topic of “Transgender Identities and the Church,” promising a captivating session.

Following this, on the subsequent week, Dee Daniels Scriven will bring her extensive experience as an advocate for refugees and marginalized communities, offering insights into creating equitable opportunities for migrants in our city.

Lastly, mark your calendars for April 21st when the Dr. Chinwé Williams will impart her expertise on nurturing resilient children in today’s tumultuous world, ensuring an event you won’t want to miss.

This three-week Summit will commence post-Easter Sunday in the auditorium, with morning sessions at 10 a.m. and evening sessions at 5:30 p.m. Attendees can enjoy complimentary dinner and childcare during the evening sessions.
