Community Groups are a place where we do Christian Life together.
At Providence we believe that spiritual growth flows out of two basic commitments:
- A commitment to God and the Bible.
- A commitment to significant Christian relationships.
To help develop these significant relationships, we have created Community Groups and the School of Gospel Foundations.
Community Groups
Community Groups are a place where we do Christian life together. It is within these small communities of six to twelve people that we can build personal relationships and practice applying the gospel to our lives. Our Community Groups are the best place for sustained life change to occur. They provide an opportunity for spiritual nurturing, mutual support, practical love and service, learning about the Christian faith, prayer, and sharing how God is working in our lives.
While some churches have small groups on the side, Providence is centered around our Community Groups. They are the church. Therefore, belonging to a Community Group is the way to truly belong to Providence.

School of Gospel Foundations
The School of Gospel Foundations coordinates all educational classes and seminars offered at Providence. The ultimate purpose of these classes is to provide our congregation with a Biblical and theological framework from which Providence’s gospel-centered vision for life and ministry is built.
