Konfluence Kids

We partner with families.

The children’s ministry staff seeks to put parents first through friendly, open interaction with you. We will communicate with you our philosophy of children’s work, the logistics of our ministry, and the specific plans for both the weekly meetings and the quarterly events. You are also welcome to speak directly to the ministry leaders with any questions or concerns.
Our worship of God extends beyond the meetings of the church into our daily life, so we will equip parents for a family worship time by providing resources and discussion questions about the week’s lesson.

We value each individual child as part of the church.

At Providence, we view each child as a vital part of the church. We respect the input of the children and joyfully serve them through a caring relationship. Because children contribute beautifully to the overall spirit of the ministry, we will provide opportunities for them to serve our community of believers alongside the adults in a variety of safe, constructive ways.

We teach kids God’s truth with a focused, comprehensive plan.

The Bible, as God’s Word, has the power to change lives – even the lives of children. During the Sunday morning worship service, the children will start in the auditorium with all the adults. This practice teaches children the importance of corporate worship and whets an appetite in them for the beauty of the Word of God and the excitement involved in praising Him. In the middle of the service, one of the worship leaders will dismiss the children to a special meeting geared specifically to the needs of the children. There will be fun activities, age-appropriate discussions and projects, and a systematic Bible lesson.

We care about the safety of your child.

The proper supervision of your child is very important to us. Everyone who is working in any facet of children’s ministry is required to undergo a complete background check by an outside agency. The leadership of the church will thoroughly train each children’s worker with health and safety regulations. At no time during the weekly lesson will a child be without adult supervision. No child will be allowed to leave at the end of the class until an adult with the proper identification comes to the classroom to pick him up.
